Empty VIMAL DHOSA MIX in a bowl, add 400 ml. of water. Stir to a smooth batter and set aside undisturbed for 25 to 30 minutes. Place a frying pan on medium heat and spread a little oil or ghee on it. Stir the batter and spread a large spoonful thinly and evenly in outward circular motion on the pan by pressing with a spoon or a katori. Fry only one side till golden brown. Sprinkle ghee or oil on the cap and along the edges. Fold and remove.
Tips: For Masala Dhosa, prepare and add Potato-Onion filling to the Dhosa before folding. The Batter can be preserved for six months or more in a refrigerator.
Serve hot Dhosa with Sambhar and Chutney. Makes 7-8 Dhosa or around 4-5 Uttapam approx.
